first thursday: September 2nd
September 1, 2010
That’s right folks, it’s about that time again for ‘First Thrusday’ at the Northrup King Building!
Located in Northeast Minneapolis, this building houses around 200 local artists of all mediums; sculptors, jewelry makers, painters, ceramic artists, textile artists and more.
Be sure to stop over at 1500 Jackson Street NE between 5 – 9pm this Thursday, September 2nd, to check out the local art scene; also, while you’re there, don’t forget to grab a wooden nickel which is good for a free drink at the Red Stag Supper Club.
The Red Stag has happy hour on Thursday from 3pm – close and music at 10pm; also this Thursday, see the band Pennyroyal play at 10pm.
Stop into studio 366 to see abstract painter, Jack Dale. Holly and I love his use of movement and color. Also, in studio 337 is Jan Bilek, a talented ceramic artist.
cheers!
