the finishing touch…

August 20, 2010

Ok, so you painted your walls that fresh, new color you have been dreaming about, you re-arranged your furniture, and you just hung a fabulous piece of art that you found at a local art fair… but your room still doesn’t feel ‘done’…  what your space needs is custom window treatments!

Being designers, we have the greatest resources for the very best in fabrics, hardware, and sewing workrooms to make sure that your window treatment is perfect for you and your space.

Here are some examples of window treatments we designed for a home near Lake Waconia…

In this eat-in kitchen, we used inverted blox pleats and a Romo fabric to make the space feel special and little dressed up.

This little girl's bedroom Roman shade has turquoise trim as it's accent. The color pops off of the orange perfectly.

In the master bedroom, we used Butterfly pleats with the soft floral Villa Romo fabric.

There are many uses for window treatments: controlling light, dressing up a space, softening the hard lines of the window, and adding some privacy to name a few. Take a look around your home and see if something feels amiss, it might just be that you need some fabric on your windows! 🙂
Happy Friday!
