“mangrove in moonlight”
artist: Candice Simpson at Textural Hues
This custom artwork was a collaborative effort between hauthaus, the artist, and the homeowner. It is installed in a family’s dining room, which is open to their entry way; so it’s one of the first things you see when entering the home. It had to be fabulous…
Candice Simpson tackled this challenge with talent and bright ideas. We gave her some general parameters and what she came up with was a beautiful piece of artwork.
subject: a mangrove tree with it’s roots in water
layout: several canvases of varying sizes; overall size should be 9′ wide x 7′ high
design concept words: coastal feel, cool colors, moonlight, casual and comfy- yet sophisticated, dramatic, silky, navigation, and lots of texture
The end result is a very personal, very perfect-for-the-space piece of artwork that the homeowners love. The colors and the feel of the piece fit right in with everything else in the home.
